8mm to 8.5mm assorted shapes of natural coloured freshwater pearls
Freshwater Pearls:
Are pearls cultivated in mussels, not oysters, in freshwater lakes and rivers. Due to their easy cultivation, freshwater pearls are more affordable than cultured pearls (grown in oysters). Freshwater pearl shapes can be freeform (baroque), rice shape, off – round, spherical to name a few and the natural colours range from milky white and cream, to peach, pink and lavender.
(Freshwater pearls can be dyed into a range of colours from chartreuse to magenta and deep purple. Unfortunately colour stability for dyed FWP cannot be guaranteed)
